Pop and Bebe visited last weekend and we had a lovely time. Jonathan didn't recognize them at first (he hasn't seen them since Christmas), but quickly warmed up to them.
It's funny how he somehow knows when people are family. He definitely acts differently around our parents and siblings than he does around our friends.
I think he senses all the LOVE in our house when family is visiting.
The weather was unusually warm so he got to wear cute spring clothes and we played outside a lot!
We headed up to Evergreen to enjoy the scenery and take a walk around the lake.
Aunt Susan (aka Aunt Soupy) joined us too!
Jonathan soaked up the sun and of course all the attention.
Sometimes the attention wasn't his favorite.
He did so great on our long outing--not even fussing when he didn't get a nap or had to sit at a restaurant forever waiting for our food. I can't say the same for his mother.

LEA. Oh my gosh he is just so photogenic! The picture of J with Betsy is my fave, for sure. He is literally smiling at the camera over and over again! Such a sweetheart :) Glad you guys had fun together!

He is so stinkin cute!! Jackson is the same way when his grandparents first come to visit, a little reserved but he quickly warms up. Glad y'all had a nice visit with family!
ReplyDeleteI am shocked how he sits there and looks at the book. My 8 month old would not sit still long enough to get the book open. That is too cute!!
