Six years ago today...
Look at those kids. We were 21 when we got married. Bright eyed and expectant... eager to see what married life would bring. I think it's safe to say these six years have been the best of our lives, and we know the best is yet to come. Here's a little recap of some of the travels we have done together over the past few years. I feel so thankful that we have had all these opportunities to see the world, and to see it all with my best friend.
Our first anniversary: Carnival cruise of the caribbean
Our Norwegian cruise got cancelled the night before departure. We had to call Carnival to see if they had any openings. Since it was the week of New Years, they only had two available rooms on all of their ships, and luckily they were on the east coast. We got the last room on this ship, meaning we had to drive eight hours the next day to the port of departure. When we got on board, we didn't even know where the ship was going!
Second anniversary: cross country road trip.
We went from our home in Charleston, SC, and visited St. Louis, Boulder, Salt Lake City, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and the Buck Family's obscure Arizona property, all in about 17 days.
Pictured here is the Hoover Dam.
Third anniversary: a long weekend trip to Las Vegas.
This was once we lived in Colorado, so it was just a convenient eight-hour drive.
Fourth anniversary: two week Mediterranean cruise
We visited Savona, Italy; Olympia, Greece; Athens, Greece; Rhodes, Greece; Cyprus; Jerusalem; Cairo; and Rome.
Pictured here is a view over Jerusalem.
Fifth anniversary: Cabo san Lucas, Mexico
You may remember one of our first posts on the blog about our Cabo trip. Jonathan Jr got to accompany us when we was only 20 weeks old.
Sixth anniversary: there's no place I'd rather be.

Happy anniversary to my sweet Lea and her wonderful Jon!
