Day by day, Jonathan has been getting better and better at eating his solids. We have finished a jar of bananas, applesauce, peas, and carrots... now we are working on squash. 

It's hard to get the carrots off his face all the way

Yes, Jonathan is tolerating the eating thing. His favorite part of the meal by far, though, is afterwards... when he gets to play with the spoon. That is his reward.

While I clean up the kitchen, Jonathan sits in his high chair, happy as can be, with his new favorite toy.

Yes, sometimes he sticks it too far into his mouth and he gags. I think of it as learning cause and effect.
