Jon's other hobby

As you all know, my hubby is a man of many talents. We have tried to keep you informed of his chess accomplishments through the past several months. You are aware that he has completed his M.Div from Denver Seminary. And in addition to being super-dad while I am going back to work, Jon got a chance to pursue one of his other passions this past week.

He got a call from a friend of a friend who was looking for some more photography pieces to hang in his gallery. Jon went over there on Wednesday and just like that the guy wanted five of Jon's pieces to put on display. This was in anticipation of the upcoming First Friday Art Walk in the art district of Denver. These art walks are pretty popular and we had always wanted to go, but hadn't gotten around to it yet.

So what better time to go than when we have a 9.5 week old who goes to bed at 5:30pm? Haha, Jonathan did really well though. He got lots of attention from the people in the gallery. And once we closed the shades to his stroller, he was able to take a nice nap.
